Abstract

This article aims to verify the correlation between the application of neoliberal policies in the last five years in Greece and their effects on the health of people. I understand this to be the extension of a process of legal defenselessness. To clarify my hypothesis, I use part of my fieldwork on the island of Crete in recent years, and particularly in the development and creation of the community health centre in Heraklion.
