About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Mot so razo is a journal specialized in medieval culture and accepts articles from all approaches to this field. However, it is particularly interested in promoting research on the old county of Empúries and on troubadour heritage in the Crown of Aragon.

It has an annual periodicity and was founded in 1999.

It is the result of a collaboration between the Institut de Llengua i Cultura Catalanes at the Universitat de Girona and the Centre d'Estudis Trobadorescos at the Ajuntament de Castelló d'Empúries.

Peer Review Process

Upon preliminary acceptation by the MSR Editorial Committee, articles are subject to a blind peer-review by two external revisors, wich has to be experts in the publication subject.

Once the reports are received the Editorial Committee reaches a final decision about accepting the article and whether changes are necessary before publication.
